Algebra Escape Adventures
As promised, new Escape Room Adventures are being created. We are happy to announce the release of the first Algebra Escape room Adventure "Linear Quest" which is set in a Medieval Magical Land.
Bring your classroom to life with this Immersive Escape Room Experience that turns solving equations into an epic quest! Your students will step into a magical world where each puzzle unlocks a new piece of the path to freedom—and success means using serious math skills.
Linear Quest is a two-part, interactive escape room designed to help students practice and master linear equations. As they journey through the quest, students solve algebra word problems that grow in complexity — and receive instant feedback for every answer, including detailed solutions.
Practice the algebra skills :
- Writing Linear Equations from word problems
- Writing and simplifying algebraic expressions
- Basic operations: adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing to isolate the variable
- Solving Multi-Step Equations
- Combining like terms
- Using the distributive property
- Solving equations with variables on both sides
- Substitution
- Adding, subtracting, and multiplying equations
- Solving systems of equations
Each challenge is a riddle, scroll, or enchanted lock—students must solve math-based puzzles to advance. The students can work in groups or pairs. The Escape Adventure is great for review, warm-ups, math talks, remote learning or classroom settings.
The resource comes in digital and print form (grey scale included). The solutions and the answers are provided. In the digital one, the feedback is instant and it takes them to the next challenge, or shows the solution. The Quest is divided in 2 parts with 6 problems in each. Once the students are done with the first part (level 1), they can be given the next part (level 2).
