The Time Travel Escape Room Adventure collection is growing. Calling all Grade 4–7 teachers—ready to transform math review into an unforgettable adventure.

The Time Travel Escape Room Adventures are perfect for spiral review across upper elementary and middle school. They are engaging, self-guided and provide instant feedback. They are available in print and digital form. Each portal encourages the students to practice and review basic math concepts, solve problems and have interesting math discussions with their group or the class as a whole.

Integration Ideas:

  • STEM Crossovers: Blend with science in Apollo/Mars and Turing portals.

  • Collaboration: Build group puzzles for teamwork and peer teaching.

  • Gamification: Add point systems, time limits, “artifact collections,” or mystery unlocks.

  • The story

    You have discovered a Time Machine the "Chrono Launcher" that allows you to travel through time. You must solve the challenges in each time period to master the art of Time Travel and be able to safely return to the present. Every math puzzle you solve helps reprogram the coordinates and brings you closer to returning to the present. But be careful—if you choose the wrong answer, you might get stuck in time. 

    Time Travel Escape Adventure 1

    In the first Time Travel Escape Room Adventure students journey through time—solving puzzles from Ancient Egypt to the Viking Shipyard, Feudal Japan, and even a futuristic Martian colony—all while practicing essential math skills.

Students journey through time—solving puzzles from Ancient Egypt to the Incan Empire, Feudal Japan, Medieval Europe, Ancient China, the Roman Times and even a futuristic Floating colony—all while practicing essential math skills. Can be useful as an interdisciplinary (intercurricular) activity that blends math with history, literacy, art, problem-solving, science.

    The Time Travel Escape room Adventures can be useful as an interdisciplinary (intercurricular) activity that blends math with history, literacy, art, problem-solving, science.
